Other2Sides is the alter ego of young producer Garrett Macht hailing from Cheltenham, England. His first release ‘Back Then’ was supported by BBC Introducing, with his follow-up single signed to Nervous Records, NY. Bringing his talent across the Pacific Ocean to Australia will see the producer release the dynamic track ‘Sing’ through Tinted Records.
The three and a half minute track is captivating from the outset. Utilizing a mellow house beat and dark undertones, slowly stacking elements including bass guitar, soulful vocals, and then fading into a bluegrass harmonica track (reminiscent of country-western Saloon bar scene) culminating to deliver an almost ethereal feel before it drops back into the underlying beat that drives throughout.
Sydney house stalwarts, Avon Stringer bring the goods as always with this clever flip, bringing a new groove and energy to this already catchy vocal.
UK deep house producer Oxen Butcher delivers pure class on this downtempo vibe, in what is his first remix project since signing to the Enormous Tunes imprint.
